  Description

This DVD recorder will accept a live digital or analogue line in thus allowing you to record video or audio direct to a range of formats including, DVD-R, DVD+R, CDAudio and SVCD. It will not allow the direct recording of a disc played in your DVD player and then recorded via the LiteON unit. The unit is a must for anyone who produces or works with DVD content or who would like to convert on digital video content to the DVD format.

HDD VIDEO RECORDING Forget about the running out of recording space. With the built in 160GB HDD( Hard Disk Drive), you may record up to 198 hours (SLP modes) of quality video programs on it.

HDD TO DISC BACKUP The co-existence of the optical disc drive and the built-in HDD on LVW-5045 doesn't stay for nothing! With it, you can record the camcorder footages onto the built-in HDD all at once. In there, you can utilize all the editing functions to the titles and then save them onto discs respectively to share them with family or friends.

DISC TO HDD COPY The contents on any types of disc by copying them to the built-in HDD, where all the editing functions can be utilized. This not only solves the problem that certain editing functions are only applicable to certain disc types but also is convient given the huge storage space of the HDD.

TIME SHIFT Advance feature such as "Time Shift", is also featured on LVW-5045. The "Time Shift" feature allows you to virtually "Freeze" the live TV program while you are temporary interrupted and "Un-Freeze" it to continue viewing the live program. FlexTime With Flextime you can watch a program while it’s still being recorded, thanks to the extreme speed of a Hard Disk. You can also watch a different program from the Hard Disk while it’s recording something else. Instant Replay With Instant Replay you are in control of exciting TV moments so you can enjoy a precious TV moment like a scene in a movie or football match again – immediately, at the press of a button. The Hard Disk can play back any scene while continuing to record the rest of the program, so you can instantly replay the last scene at any moment. Pause Live TV A very large built-in memory records the program on screen when you press the pause button. When it suits you, you can resume the program from the moment you pressed ‘pause’ as if you’re watching a live program.

RECORD AND PLAYBACK With LVW-5045, you can watch the recording program from the very beginning while it is still being recorded, regardless of how far along that recording is in progress. Simply press a key and you no longer need to wait until the recording is completed. Recording will not be interrupted and viewing can be performed any time you desire! "Easy Guider” On Screen Menu Press the “Guider” button on the remote control and move the cursor to the desired operation - Playback discs, Record content, finalize the DVD+R or DVD-R disc for playback in other DVD player, Erase the contents of the current disc. Nothing else comes close.  DV Link (IEEE 1394) Input Connection DV Link (IEEE 1394) Preserves the content in its original digital quality Vibrant video colors and pulsating audio sounds are carried through the DV Link connection.

The advanced “All Write” technology gives the possibility to copy on DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW and CD-R/RW. With a storage capacity of 160GB it’s possible to record from 33 hours (HQ mode quality) to 198 hours (SLP mode quality)!

In addition the LVW-5045 features a Time Shift option, you can now “pause” any live program on TV at any time. With the advanced feature such as Record & Play integrated into the LVW-5045, you can already playback part of the program, while the program is still being recorded. Furthermore the LVW-5045 features DV Link (iEEE1394), DV Control and Show View. This innovative product offers both the professional and home user the ability to copy and store live TV, video, audio, images & all types of data files onto any type of DVD and CD.
