Cables are available in a variety of lengths from 6 to 33 feet with terminations available in 6 pin Firewire 400 and 9 pin Firewire 800. Firewire can be extended beyond the 15 feet specification by using Firewire repeaters. One repeater is required every 33 feet while extending.
